“3Days is a project born at Leiden University.”
“ I noticed how some friends of mine were lucky enough to be hosted by some students for a few days while room hunting. I asked myself, is there a way to make everyone as lucky as they were?
That‘s when 3Days‘ idea came to me. I started asking around to people about their housing experience, I was shocked to discover how almost everyone had big problems with it. I started doing research, I talked to teachers and students, and a first test map on padlet was born. And now we have a web app!
Looking for a room to stay can be a daunting task: you can look for a place online, but how can you be sure the room you found exists and you have not been scammed? The best way to know it is to spend a few days in the city, checking the rooms with your own eyes and talking to students of the University. But not everyone has the budget to stay in an expensive hotel or Airbnb! That‘s why 3Days was born. The idea is to give incoming students a cheap place to crash for a few days while room-hunting and building a new network. ”

I had the pleasure of meeting Isabella, Alessandro, and Miguel, who hosted me for a few days and gave me all kinds of advice about moving to and living in the Netherlands. Eventually, it was them who helped me find the accommodation I’m still living in, and, moreover, I got to know these wonderful people with whom I’m still in touch. I would highly recommend 3Days to anyone looking for a place to stay for a few days and to make new friends! ”

Not only is it fun, but I've also made friendships with people I never would have met otherwise. Sharing laughs, meals, and adventures is enriching in countless ways. If you're looking for a way to connect with amazing people and create unforgettable memories, I highly recommend becoming a host with 3Days! ”

The best experience for the best value
I was in Leiden for a week for a workshop related to my studies. 3Days really helped me since I am a student and who doesn't like cheap accommodation options in another country. Moreover, I absolutely loved my time in Leiden credits to my host. You can try yourself and If you don't like them maybe you are not cool as me lol
